One of the most sought-after engagement ring designers in Canada and a highly respected Graduate Gemologist, Lindsay Stapon Jones’s passion is helping clients design the perfect piece of fine jewellery.
Lindsay and Luxura Diamonds have been the recipient of several awards, including the Canada Prestige Awards - Jewellery Designer of the Year (2022); the Global Wedding Awards Best Engagement & Wedding Ring Jeweller, Canada (2022); the Canadian Business Awards Best Custom Engagement Fine Jewellery Company - Greater Calgary (2020, 2021); the Innovation and Excellence Award for Custom Fine Jewellery Company of the Year and Jewellery Designer of the Year (2021).
With access to the highest quality diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals in the world, Lindsay helps clients find exactly what they are looking for when it comes to fine jewellery: the perfect blend of quality, looks, and value. Lindsay strongly believes in exclusively using ethically and responsibly sourced materials, and has taken the Rapport Pledge for Ethical Jewelry.
Lindsay has enjoyed being in the Fine Jewellery industry for over fifteen years. After excelling as one of the youngest consultants at one of Canada's most exclusive retail jewellery stores, Lindsay attended the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California, where she obtained her Graduate Gemologist (GG) and Accredited Jewellery Professional (AJP) designation.
She returned to Calgary in 2007 to complete her business degree when she noticed a gap in the market between the service of the high-end jewellery stores and the competitive prices of online retailers.
In 2014, Lindsay founded Luxura Diamonds to consult for clients with exceptional taste and uncompromising values; clients who were looking for finer and more unique jewellery than what was available in stores.
Actively involved in giving back to the community, Lindsay has sat on the Board of Directors for charities serving children and regularly donates fine jewellery to valuable local causes including Business Fore Calgary Kids, Timbits Minor Hockey foundation, and Ronald McDonald House.
